Waubeeka’s finishing hole is a short, flat par 4 – a definite birdie hole. Favor the left side off the tee as the hillside in the left rough can be forgiving and lead to balls rolling back down into the fairway. Avoid the right side as it will typically result in a blocked approach. Two gaping bunkers dot the fairway forcing the strong player to choose between an attempt to carry them or laying up off the tee. Direction and strength of wind will play heavily in this decision.
A well struck tee shot will lead to a relatively short iron approach. Missing left or long can lead to bogies. It is possible to run the ball onto the green if you come in from the left side, and the large, relatively flat green gives up many birdie opportunities.
