History 1966-present

Ownership

Waubeeka opens June 8, 1966 – April 1984 under the direction of Rowland Armacost ~ Designer,architect, manager & superintendent

Ed Stawarz purchases and operates course from August 1985 til his death in December of 1996. Course is willed to the Stawarz family trust and was controlled by a board of directors until March 2008.

Jim and Jody Goff purchased Waubeeka March 2008.

The Hole-In-One Club:
The MGA provides a Hole-in-One certificate to MGA members who accomplish the remarkable feat of scoring a hole in one. As a way of celebrating this achievement, the MGA will also send each golfer a special antiqued brass colored bag tag that includes details about the accomplishment.

When reporting a hole in one, please be sure to include the following: Golf Course, Hole Number, Club Used, Par, Yardage, Witness(es), Date and Mailing Address. That information can be emailed to Linda at ltisevich@mgalinks.org.

The PGA of America at www.pga.com wants you to register your hole in one. It’s very easy, log on to the PGA site, go to the PGA of America page, click on the PGA hole in ones and register.
