The Lesson Tee

LPGA teaching professional Erika DeSanty is the director of instruction at Waubeeka’s Lesson Tee. While providing individualized instruction, the main goal of each lesson is to improve understanding of personal swing technique and ball flight. Video analysis will also be offered during lessons.

Learn more about Erika Desanty
In 2012 Erika DeSanty became the LPGA teaching professional at Waubeeka. Currently in her fourth season as head women’s golf coach at nearby Williams College, DeSanty has developed the program into one of the best in New England and among the top of Division III programs in the country. Since her arrival at Williams she guided the team to an impressive record of 249-41-2, the most consecutive season wins, the program’s best NCAA Championship finish (5th place), the lowest team and individual single-day totals as well as the lowest team and individual two-day totals. Additionally, while under DeSanty, Williams has fielded the program’s first All-American, three players have earned Regional honors, and three players have been named to the NGCA Scholar Athlete team. The program has also had three players finish in the top-25 at the NCAA Championships against a field of more than 100 participants. In 2011, as a result of the Ephs achievement DeSanty was named the National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) East Region Coach of the Year and honored locally as a recipient of the Frank Zoltek Passion for Coaching Award.
DeSanty began her work in the golf industry as a demo technician for the Callaway Golf Company and shortly after began teaching under the esteemed PGA and LPGA Hall of Fame professional Kay McMahon. DeSanty graduated from Colby-Sawyer in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Sciences with a concentration in Sport Management and from Elmira College in 2007 with a Master of Science degree in Education.
